Haven't been blogging for quit a long time but I am attempting to begin again _____ I've been painting and very busy with life and family I posted a few of my paintings to make up for lost time

What About Me

As ee cummings wrote " i'm nobody, who are you?

are you a nobody too?

Well we are all somebody contrary to ee cummings,

and I am not just me, but a culmination of all who

surround me and have been a part of my life

That's why there is us in my picture profile

My partner, my friend, and the beginning of all my most treasured gifts

Met at sixteen and aside from all the wrinkles, gray hair, good & troubling times we will remain (in our minds) forever sixteen

THE BEST OF TIMES

What times are the best of times

What will I hold dear throughout eternity

If eternity does exist

Which voices , who's face

which moments will never fade into the mist

Will it be the quiet hours

or the precious days of childrens laughter

Or perhaps, hours spent in my lovers arms

Which memories will remain hereafter

The hours spent in jubilation

or those spent in anticipation

Will the voices remembered

be from the lips

of those I so passionately adore

Will the words that are spoken now

have meaning in the forevermore

Will the soft gentle kiss of love

be dearest to me

or the quenching of raging desires

the lasting memory

Which moments, who's smiles,

who's face

So many I hold dear

So many good times

So many good places

What times are the best of times

I hope I never have to choose
